The Salazar Velmeshev team studies chemokine receptors in the context of breast cancer, brain cancer, and prostate cancer. Our lab trains undergrads and master’s students in cell and molecular biology techniques to understand the role of chemokine receptor biology in the tumor microenvironment and in cancer health disparities.
